Thought-Provoking Programming
Æthos fosters a space for top knowledge builders, researchers, and ethicists to exchange ideas through panels, fireside chats, and AI ethics discussions. AI founders showcase innovations at Demo Nights, while Signature Dinners and Tech Art Exhibitions bridge expertise and creativity. Hackathons and paper reading sessions encourage hands-on collaboration and intellectual growth. Major conferences, in partnership with StartUp EU and Cambridge Science Museum, bring global AI pioneers together. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, Æthos advances responsible AI innovation for the benefit of humanity and the planet.

Our Initiatives
MAHI - Massachusetts AI Health Innovation
Grown out of a $500k grant programme, Æthos gathers experts eager to support MAHI grant recipients and builds conduits such as the Æthos Open Licence to enable groundbreaking AI solutions to benefit public health in Massachusetts.
Æthos is collaborating with Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) to connect AI researchers and innovators with public health challenges in Massachusetts. CIC, whose mission is to "fix the world through innovation," has launched a $500,000 grant to support the development of AI-driven solutions addressing critical public health needs. The grant provides technical resources such as coders and UI designers to build and implement software solutions, like apps. A Massachusetts public health authority must endorse the selected project for eligibility. CIC will assist grantees but expects them to plan for long-term maintenance costs beyond the grant.
Æthos Open Licence. Æ.O.L
The Æthos Open License is a conduit for Æthos community and ecosystem members to commit products to the public domain in perpetuity while safeguarding intellectual property and preserving the ability to carry on for-profit activities elsewhere. High impact AI tools are licensed here to ensure they remain accessible to humanity at minimal cost.
The Æ.O.L. is envisioned as a long term project to facilitate the licensing of enterprise capabilities, know-how, data, & IP for use in initiatives for public good and to establish trust protocols for asynchronous communication between AI agents.
The license will grant eligible users access to any technology listed here for free or at cost. Ultimately, as Æthos norms for responsible AI emerge more clearly, the Open Licence is envisioned to provide protocol to conform to guidelines of privacy, decentralization, transparency as certified by Æthos.
We are moving towards a post software era where personal agents are ubiquitous. Agentic asynchronous communication is producing this change and the need to establish trust for safe communication is paramount. The Æ.O.L. aspires to be that conduit for trust
